One of the most exciting things about eating vegan is that you can eat dessert for breakfast and it’s totally rational! I discovered unsweetened cocoa powder once I became vegan, and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I love that I can make delicious recipes without sugar but still have that delicious chocolate flavor. Raw Cacao adds an unexpected crunch, and really makes this oatmeal addictive.
Raw oats are very nutritious and they actually keep you full longer than cooked oats because your body has to take more time to digest them. Oats are very economical and high in the soluble fiber, beta-glucan. They are also a nice source of plant based fat. Want one more reason to eat your daily oats? Ok, you got it! They are proven to lower bad cholesterol, raise good cholesterol, and maintain a healthy circulatory system!
Ingredients
1/4 Cup Uncooked, Gluten-Free, Old Fashioned Oats
1/4 Cup Applesauce, unsweetened
1/4 Cup Vanilla Almond Milk, unsweetened
1-2 Teaspoons Cocoa Powder, unsweetened (I use Wonderslim Wondercocoa)
1 Teaspoon Sunflower Seeds (optional)
1, 1/2 Teaspoon Raw Cacao (optional)
Sliced Banana or Strawberries (optional)
Directions
Mix Everything together. Serves 1.

Fantastic! 🙂 I love these. I just ate them today actually! Have a great evening!
Are these overnight oats or are they instant??
Hi! You can do either way, I just mix these and eat right away! I used old fashioned oats, but not the thick rolled kind. ✌
