Pa-Pa-Pa-paya!!! This tropical papaya face mask makes me want to do a little dance! Who knew it could be so much fun making your own beauty treatments! If you haven’t treated your beautiful face to any tender lovin’ care lately…get in the summer groove and make this face mask asap!
Papaya enzymes are a component of many luxury face creams these days. (Alba & Astara both make papaya face products) So if companies are using papaya as a beauty ingredient, then I say we go directly to the source and mash up that yummy papaya and make our own treatment! (Now don’t get me wrong, I love some luxurious body products, but I just like really enjoy making my own things too!)
Papaya is one of those fruits that is a true beauty food! It not only nourishes your body from the inside, but its antioxidant and enzymes also treat your body from the outside. Both eating, and direct application of papaya will help you achieve smooth & supple skin!
Ingredients (Enough for 2 Masks)
1 Cup Mashed Papaya
1/4 Cup Soy Yogurt (or Honey, both will work great)
2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice
Directions
*Mix all ingredients together, and then apply to cleansed face.
*Leave on 10 minutes maximum.
*For those who have very sensitive skin, you may want to only leave on 5 minutes.
*Rinse with cool water and apply moisturizer or a little coconut oil to your skin.
Woohoo, my skin felt so amazing after this mask!! I try my best to do a face mask at least one time per week! This one rocks! I must have been in a papaya mood because I ate one whole papaya for breakfast and then gave myself this Pa-Pa-Pa-paya face mask in the afternoon!
