Banana Ginger Ice Cream

Vegan Banana Ginger Ice Cream! Sugar-Free!

I created this recipe after I had dinner at an asian restaurant.  Ginger was on my mind, what can I say! Ginger has slowly grown to my liking, and I am happy it has because it is SO amazing for our bodies.  Ginger is a pungent, warming spice that helps alleviate inflammation. Ginger also strengthens our immune system and soothes gastrointestinal upset.

This flavor combination just works! Banana. Yes! Pineapple. Yes! Ginger. Ohhhh Yes!


1/3 Cup Vanilla Hemp Milk, unsweetened

1 Frozen Banana

1 Date

1 Cup Frozen Pineapple

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger

1/8 Teaspoon Coconut Extract (optional)


Blend in your high speed blender or Vitamix. Can be used in a Yonanas Machine also. 

**Note: Any type of dairy-free milk can be used in this. I just used hemp milk to make this a nut-free version and add variety.
