Homemade Cashew Butter

Quick Recipe: Oil-Free Homemade Cashew Butter www.LipstickandBerries.com

Cashew Butter is my favorite type of nut butter. What I love about cashew butter is its creamy and mild sweetness.  I sometimes take a small piece of Ezekiel toast and spread it with a little cashew butter and layer with it sliced strawberries.  You can add the cashew butter to shakes, you can make creamy sauces, you can make salad dressings, and you can use it as spreads like I mentioned.  I have a lot more things in store for you, cashew butter!

This cashew butter recipe is so simple – its just nuts!! 🙂 (get it?! It’s nuts that it’s just nuts! Ha.)

4 Cups Raw Cashews, unsalted

1/2 Cup Water

1. You’ll need a MAJOR blender for this, like a Vitamix, Pour all cashews and water into blender and blend on high using tamper until soft and buttery looking, about one minutes.

2. Store in an airtight container.
